Best of luck to the intermediate girls who play Gorey in the county semi-final Sunday evening (18th) at 5.45 p.m. in Patricks Park. Please support both teams.

KETTLE BELL CLASSES

Kettlebell Power Fitness classes for ladies will commence in Oylegate Community Centre, on Wednesday, October 5, from 7.30 p.m. to 8.30 p.m. and each wednesday evening thereafter. Excercise mats and kettlebells are provided. Beginners and all fitness levels are welcome. For more info contact 087 6180872, or just arrive on the night.

GAA LOTTO

PARENTS’ ASSOCIATION

The AGM took place on Thursday night and the new committee was ellected Chairperson Shionagh Downey. Secretary Sinéad Carthy Treasurer Ami Heffernan PRO. Edel Kelly. Ciaran Kinsella stepped down after holding the position of Treasurer for five years, and the committee thanked him for all his work and dedication during his time. Class reps were also elected at the meeting more information next week.

FR JIM’S FAREWELL DO

There will be a presentation to Father Jim Cogley in Oylegate Community Centre on Thursday, September 22, at 8.30 p.m. with light refreshments afterwards. Everybody is welcome to come along and wish him all the best as he takes up his role in his new parish in Our Lady’s Island.
