Magnificent seven sends Tombrack to summit

Shelburne FC 3, Tombrack United 7: Tombrack moved to the top of the Premier section with this win away to Shelburne, a venue that has proved a difficult one for them in recent years. Two goals each from Nadine Fortune, Rebecca Connaughton and Kelli Maguire as well as one from Nicola Ryan gave them their second win of the season. Katie Murphy (two) and Ella Lyng scored for Shelburne.

St. Leonards 3, Bunclody A.F.C. 1: The home side recorded a big win for the club as they overcame Bunclody 3-1. Two goals from Fiona Ryan and a first-ever goal from Cora Hackett gave St. Leonards a very important three points.

Cloughbawn A.F.C. 9, Courtown Hibs 3: The firepower of Cloughbawn proved too much for Courtown Hibs as the divisional favourites ran out comfortable winners in a fast-paced game. Alex Lynch (two) and Mia Roberts were on target for Hibs while Sarah Siggins (four), Niamh McHugh (two), Emma Clarke (two) and Laura Butler all scored for the home side.

Seaview United 2, Corach Ramblers 3: Corach moved to the top of the table after they came away from Seaview 3-2 winners in a very exciting encounter.

St. Joseph’s 6, Carnew F.C. 0: An understrength Carnew side were no match for a strong St. Joseph’s side who ran out comfortable winners and moved to the top of the table. Ella Cullen (two), Aoife Manley, Eva Cleary, Emma Cunningham and Ciara Lyons were all on target for the dominant home team.

Camolin Celtic 6, Moyne Rangers 5: An eleven-goal thriller saw Camolin eventually overcome Moyne Rangers.

Shauna Redmond (two), Siobhán Peare (two) and Meg O’Connor all scored for Moyne while Emma Carton, Emma Warren, Chelsea Fortune, Grace Halloran, Megan Doyle and Megan Byrne were all on target for Camolin.
