COLÁISTE AN ÁTHA

The annual Coláiste an Átha open evening will take place in the school on Thursday, October 27, from 7 p.m. to 8.30 p.m. All fifth and sixth class pupils and their parents/guardians are especially welcome. Please come and take the time to meet some of the fantastic students who attend our school, to speak with our teachers and to view our beautiful school premises and buildings.

CHERNOBYL ORPHANGES

Anne Hammel and Catherine O’Connor organisers of the coffee evening in the KMH on Friday, October 14, wish to thank everyone who bought tickets and who couldn’t attend. Everyone who donated door prizes, raffle prizes, and cakes etc. Everyone who helped in any way to make this fundraiser such a success.

We wish to assure everyone that the total money raised €1,410 will be brought to Belarus (Chernobyl) and spent helping old people and deprived children. Our registered charity number is 15 17426. COFFEE EVENING

Circle of friends are hosting a coffee evening in the KMH Kilmuckrid­ge on Friday, November 11, from 7.30 p.m. to 9.30 p.m. in aid of Laura Lynn Ireland Children’s Hospice.

MID-TERM CAMP

Little Acorns will run a midterm camp from Tuesday, November 1, to Friday, November 4, from 10 a.m. to 1.30 p.m. for children aged 4-10 years. Cost is €5 per day to book please call 053 9130393 or call into the Kilmuckrid­ge Family and Resource Centre.

PARENT AND TODDLER
