Leaders Rangers put another three points on board

Leaders Moyne Rangers got another three points on the board thanks to a 3-1 win away to Fastnet Rovers on Sunday.

Timmy Dwyer, Joshua O’Byrne and Kamil Kuthiewicz got the goals for the Enniscorthy outfit.

Wexford Celtic sit in second place after edging out Stoney Rovers 2-1 with goals from Stuart Hayden and Willie Lambert, while Joe Wilson bagged a double for Crossabeg as they beat Ajax Athletic 2-0.

Sixteen-year-old Brandon Sinnott was the star man for North End United, as his hat-trick helped the Sky Blues to a 5-3 win over Shamrock Rovers.

Danny Fitzpatrick converted a penalty for the Wexford town side, with Ashley Haughton scoring from a free-kick and Seán Wildes (two) and Jack Dempsey replying for Rovers.

Shelburne collected the points in Adamstown with a 1-0 win.

Cloughbawn extended their advantage at the top of Division 2A after seeing off Rathnure in a derby on Sunday. The pacesetters chalked up a 2-0 victory, with Páidí Cullen and James Dempsey getting their goals.

Duncannon sprang a surprise against second-placed North End United, winning 3-0 with goals from Jason O’Grady and Aaron O’Brien (two).

Killenagh Wanderers and New Ross Town shared the spoils after a 1-1 draw, with Seán Duffy on target for Town.

Division3

Bree United moved to within two points of leaders Bunclody after edging out Oylegate 2-1 on Sunday.

Noel Roche and Dylan Dalton grabbed the goals for the winners, with Alan Quigley hitting the back of the net for Oylegate.

Enniscorthy United followed up the previous weekend’s win over leaders Bunclody with a 3-2 triumph in Caim, with Billy Millar netting a double and Mick Rigley adding their other goal.

New Ross Celtic also collected three points, when overcoming Ferns United 3-0.

Division3A

Elliott Malone was the match-winner for Wexford Albion as his goal earned his side a 1-0 victory over Rosbercon to make it nine wins from nine.

Bill Goucher grabbed a hattrick for Bridge Rovers as the Castlebridge side crushed fellow promotion-hopefuls Camolin 5-1, with Dan Murphy and Paul McCleane getting their other goals.

Campile edged out Wexford Celtic by the odd goal in seven, with Darragh Kent, Dylan Whitty, Tadgh Cahill and Declan Murphy all getting on the scoresheet.

Darren Doyle got the only goal of the game as Curracloe saw off Courtown Hibs, while Shelburne won 4-2 away to Kilmore United.

Leaders Crossabeg had to be content with a point on Sunday as they were held to a scoreless draw by Wexford Bohs.

There was no such problems for Corach Ramblers as they stormed to a 9-0 success against bottom side Enniscorthy United.

Richie Walsh, Mark Sinnott and Jon Reville all contributed doubles, while Conor Neville, Darren Sinnott and Joe Sinnott grabbed a goal apiece.

Moyne Rangers also had little trouble in finding the net as they crushed St. Leonards 5-0 with goals from Ciarán O’Connor (two), Jason Kirwan, Kalem Morrissey and Ian Curran.

Rosslare Rangers overcame All Blacks 3-1 with goals from Jason Ellard, Dylan Parle and Emmet Byrne, with Aaron Wright-Power scoring for All Blacks.

It was a bad day for teams at the upper regions of Division 4A with the top three sides - Cloughbawn, St. Joseph’s and Shamrock Rovers - all losing.

Cloughbawn lost 7-2 to a rampant Boolavogue side, with Fionn Doyle bagging a hat-trick, Tony Ryan adding a double and Eoin Whelan and James Byrne adding a goal apiece for the winners.

Tombrack edged out Shamrock Rovers 2-1 with goals from James Hendrick and John Ryan, with Michael Clinton replying for Rovers.

St. Joseph’s also suffered a 2-1 away defeat at the hands of Enniscorthy Town, while Rosslare Port came out on top 3-2 against Bree United.

Wexford Albion kept the chasing pack at arm’s length as they eked out a 3-2 win in Cushinstown on Sunday.

Mark Browne bagged a double for the visitors, with Danny Walsh adding their other goal and Conor O’Neill and Ciarán Kehoe replying for the hosts.

Castledockrell had a more comfortable afternoon as they cruised to a 7-0 triumph over Caim United.

Ned Hendrick helped himself to a hat-trick, Paddy Somers bagged a double, while Paddy Kavanagh and Kevin Rellis also got in on the act.

Aaron Hart and Devin WallWalsh both got doubles for Duncannon in their 6-2 win over St. Cormac’s, with Seán Nolan and Aaron Curry adding to their tally and Dean Fortune netting both goals for the saints.

Elsewhere Stoney Rovers overwhelmed Camolin 7-1.
