Cloughbawn GPA would like to thank all landowners in our region for their continued support and assistance. We would also like to extend our thanks to the Cloch Ban and staff who provided refreshments after the open day. Thanks to C J Doyle to sponsored two jackets. The following were winners on the day: First place Jack Harris, second Kenneth Murphy, third Jack Somers, fourth Michael Murphy, Poulpeasty, and fifth place Stephen Kennedy. Trinity Motors provided sponsorship for the Longest Bird competition which was won by Edward Denton.

We would like to re-assure all landowners that all our members are covered by the IFA insurance approved scheme and carry identification while hunting and shooting on your land. HOPE CANCER CENTRE

The Madra Dubh Sewing Group will hold a Christmas Craft Fair on Sunday, November 13, in the Horse and Hound Ballinaboola from 12 to 5 p.m. All proceeds go to the Hope Cancer Support Centre, Enniscorthy.

HANDBALL AGM

Templeudigan Handball Club will hold their AGM on Wednesday, November 9, in Templeudigan Hall at 8.30 p.m. It is important that all club members attend.

ASTHMA SUPPORT

The Asthma Society of Ireland is delivering a free four-week asthma support programme at Raheen Family Resource Centre on Wednesday the ninth, 16th, November 23 and 30 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. each night. This programme is open to all parents and carers of a child with asthma, and the benefits of attending include: Free asthma management pack, expert advice from an asthma trained nurse specialist, peer support from other parents/carers of children with asthma, and a certificate of completion.
