ILLUSTRATOR Roger O’Reilly has spent the last 18 months travelling around Ireland capturing the beauty of our stunning island in a series of captivating, ‘retro-style’ prints, including one from the Model County, of a very pastoral Fethard-on-Sea.
From Ireland’s rugged coastline to her magnificent lighthouses, from tranquil villages and towns to the bustling cities, Ireland’s unique splendor is stunningly represented in over 70 unique prints.
‘ The idea started when I produced some prints for some friends as thank you gifts and from there, I realised the huge potential to develop a whole series of prints in the style of old railway posters. The feedback has been very positive and my intention is to add to the collection in the coming years,’ said the illustrator.
‘All too often we’re too busy to take in the beauty that’s around us.
