ART AND CRAFT FAIR

Kicking off the festive spirit Kiltealy Voluntary Cardiac Response are having a fundraisin­g Christmas craft fair in Kiltealy Community Hall on Sunday next, November 20, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Kids activities with Mrs Claus and her elves helping out on the day. Come along and get your Christmas presents, see the fantastic work the local crafters have on show and soak up the atmosphere.

NOVENA OF MASSES

A novena of Masses for the deceased is being celebrated in Kiltealy Church every night this week from Monday, November 14, to Friday, November 18, at 7.30 p.m. each night, ending on Saturday, November 19, at 7 p.m. Benedictio­n after each Mass. All deceased family members, relatives and friends and those who have no one left to pray for them will be remembered at every Mass.

COLLECTION THANKS

The Wexford branch of Down’s Syndrome Ireland would like to thank everyone who supported the recent Church gate collection in Kiltealy and Ballindagg­in. The amount raised was €650.88 which will be used to help provide valuable services to members in county Wexford. Your support is very much appreciate­d.

The annual senior citizens Christmas party will be held in Ballindagg­in Community Hall on Sunday, December 11. Full details later.

KILTEALY NS

A collection of unwanted clothes will take place on Monday, November 21, at Kiltealy school and the shelter at the school will be open all this week during school hours and till 5.30 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday to facilitate dropping off of clothes. Your support is very much appreciate­d.

DUFFRY ROVERS

Duffry Rovers GAA club have a new stand almost completed at the club grounds, Coolree. The club is running a novel fundraiser to complete the work and further developmen­t at Coolree where members can purchase a seat in the new stand for €50. A board will be erected with the names of those who purchase a seat. A seat can also be purchased in memory of a past member. Anyone who wishes to purchase a seat contact the club treasurer.

SOCIAL AND TEA

The November social and tea will beheld in Kiltealy Community Hall on Friday, November 25. Music on the night will be by K-Jo.

LOTTO

The numbers drawn last week were 1, 14, 15 and 23. Three players matched 3; Ryan Bowe, Kiltealy. Annie Doyle, Ballindagg­in and Bridget Delaney, Caim.

They won €50 each. Sellers prizes; Pat Armstrong, Martin O’Connor, Jim Hanrahan and Watchorn Family. The draw tonight (Nov. 15th) is in Bowe’s, Kiltealy and the jackpot is now €2,000.
