DAVIDSTOWN EUCHARISTI­C MINISTERS: Davidstown is looking for new Eucharisti­c Ministers please contact Fr Nolan.

HOLY HOUR: A Holy Hour with Exposition of Blessed Sacrament will take place in Courtnacud­dy Church on Sunday, December 11, from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. The Holy Hour will take place every second Sunday of each month.

ROSARY: The Fatima Rosary takes place in Davidstown Church on the 13th of each month at 3 p.m. Every first Saturday morning there is a rosary hour in Courtnacud­dy church from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. In Davidstown the rosary will be said before all masses. All are welcome to come along and take part.

EUCHARISTI­C ADORATION: Adorers needed for Eucharisti­c Adoration 2 p.m. on Tuesdays and 11 a.m. on Wednesdays in Davidstown. Please contact Eileen at 087 7468724.

Courtnacud­dy National School new look Christmas Fair Sunday, November 27, in Courtnacud­dy Community Centre at 2 p.m. including Santa, bottle stall, cake stall, new craft stall and much more.

GAA CLUB NOTES

CLUB AGM’S – The AGM of Davidstown-Courtnacud­dy GAA Club will be held in Boolabawn on Friday, November 18. We will hold both the Coiste na nÓg and Adult AGM on the same night. The Coiste na nÓg AGM will start at 7.30 p.m. and will be followed by the Adult AGM at 8.45 p.m. This is a chance for you the members to have your say or raise any questions that you might have for the outgoing committee.

LOTTO – Results from the draw held on November 7: numbers drawn were 2, 21, 26 and 32; no jackpot winner, no match-three winners; two quick pick winners Lily Kavanagh, Ballyeden and Nick Doyle, The Still; sellers prize Majella Dunne. Under-8: Hurling – Tom Dunne, Football – Daire Kehoe; under-10: Hurling – Ciaran Delaney, Football – Fionn Andrews; under-12: Hurling – Tom Quigley, Football – Dylan Sharkey; under-14; Hurling – Oisin Cooney, Football – Fionn Doyle; under-16: Hurling Steven Hickey, Football – Jordan Feeley; under-18: Hurling – Michael Kehoe, Football – Andrew Redmond; most improved adult player – Danny Delaney; adult player of the year and receiving the Peter Buckley perpetual Cup – Michael Murphy.

Congratula­tions and well done to all the following were presented with the medals they won through out the year: under-10s – for their hurling blitz; under-14s – football co. final medals and their runner up hurling co final medals; minor – runner up co. final medals. Well done, all.

CHESS AND DRAUGHTS

Bree-Davidstown Community Games Chess and Draughts Lessons every Tuesday night from seven to 8.30 p.m. in Bree Hall. All children from eight years to 16 years are welcome. Cost is €1 per child.
