TOMMY TIERNAN RETURNS

National Opera House, December 14 Comedian Tommy Tiernan had them rolling in the aisles in the recent Spiegelten­t festival and will return to Wexford on Wednesday, December 14 for a gig at the National Opera House as part of a national ‘Under the Influence’ tour. Tiernan whose latest DVD ‘Out of the Whirlwind’ live from Edinburgh will be relased on November 18, is a popular performer with Wexford audiences who enjoy his dark, irreverent and silly brand of comedy.

SINGING WORKSHOPS

Wexford Arts Centre, November 21 to December 12 If you enjoy singing, you’ll be interested to hear that Wexford Arts Centre is holding a series of free weekly community singing workshops from Monday, November 21 to Monday, December 12 from 7.30 pm to 9 pm each night. Participan­ts will be given tips on how to use their voice well and sing in harmony. The workshops will be led by experience­d singing teacher and facilitato­r Elizabeth Drwal. Everyone is welcome to go along. A concert for family and friends will be held on Sunday afternoon, December 18 at 3pm.

KEITH BARRY’S ‘HYPNOMAGIC­K’

National Opera House, December 11 The internatio­nally acclaimed mentalist Keith Barry is bringing his brand new live show ‘Hypnomagic­k’ to venues around Ireland including the National Opera House in Wexford on Saturday, December 11. Tickets are currently on sale for the event which is bring billed as his craziest and most hypnotic to date and will see him inviting over 100 people on stage to be hypnotised. The famous performer will invite skeptics to leave their seats and watch as he makes the whole audience disappear in front of their eyes.Wil you be brave enough to join him on stage.

COMEDY FROM THE NUALAS

National Opera House, November 19 Hilarious singing group The Nualas will perform at the National Opera House this Saturday, November 19 at 8pm. The musical comedy trio who display a savage biting wit in three-part harmony have been celebratin­g their 21st anniversar­y this year. Tickets at the Opera House box office.
