Skoda showroom is top class
THERE was great excitement in Donohoe Skoda last Thursday night at the launch of their new showroom.
Irish sporting legends Davy Fitzgerald, the current Wexford hurling manager, footballer Stephen Hunt, rugby player Luke Fitzgerald and RTE sports presenter Des Cahill all turned out in force to help launch the new start of the art show room.
The guest panel gave an insight into the life of an Irish sports star along with an entertaining panel discussion. The evening marked Davy Fitzgerald’s first big appearance since he announced that he was taking up the post of Wexford’s senior hurling manager and he was presented with the keys to a new Skoda Octavia which will be sponsored by Donohoe’s for 2017.
Guests on the night were able to enjoy the new surroundings of Donohoe Skoda which has seen significant investment in the facilities at Quarrypark. Donohoes employs over 20 people in the Skoda brand across Sales, Servicing, Parts, Administration and Marketing.
Dan Kickham of Donohoe Skoda, said; ‘We were delighted to host this event to mark the official launch of our new koda showroom. We couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate than with these Irish sports stars.’
Austin Codd, Skoda brand manager with Donohoue’s said that the evening had been a great success with over 250 guests attending the launch. ‘We also raffled three jerseys, a Wexford hurling jersey, an Irish soccer jersey and an Irish rugby jersey, on the night which went down very well.’
