The Christmas coffee morning will take place in the Crosses on Friday, December 9, from 10 a.m.-12.30 p.m. Admission €3. Raffle Prizes and a special visit from Santa.

THURSDAY BRIDGE

Come play bridge every Thursday morning from 10 a.m. at Seán Óg’s Bridge club, Upton court hotel, Kilmuckrid­ge. No partner needed as we have a joker system in operation. All are welcome – any queries contact Anne Kelly at 087 6318607.

KBC BRIDGE

Kilmuckrid­ge Bridge Club (KBC) is a members only Bridge club playing on Monday evenings at 7 p.m. (excl. Bank Holidays) at the Upton Court Hotel. For more info contact Secretary Seán at 085 8486071.

BUFFERS ALLEY GAA

POKER CLASSIC – This year’s Poker Classic will take place on Tuesday, December 27, in the Buffers Alley Clubhouse at 8 p.m. The Classic has been running for almost 10 years and has become a firm favourite with card players over the Christmas season. Over €1,600 was the total prize money given out last year making it the biggest poker purse in Wexford. Tickets costing €20, are now available from club members or you can pay at the door. Refreshmen­ts will be served at half time and the bar will be running promotions on the night.

GAA SEASON TICKETS – The Wexford GAA Season Ticket for 2017 which includes admission to all Wexford GAA organised adult games (including Co. Finals) is available from Thursday, December 1. at the GAA Office in Innovate Wexford Park or though Paypal on Wexford GAA website. The cost is €140 up to and including December 22 – €160 from Jan ‘17.

CLUB GEAR – Orders are now being taken for gear for Christmas gifts. The usual selection of gear is available to gear – gear bags, skinny track pants, half zips, training tops, windbreake­rs, hats, gloves, etc. Please contact Lorraine Murphy asap at 087 6897711 or send a message through the Buffers Alley GAA Gear and Leisure Wear Facebook page.

ANNUAL GENERAL MEETINGS – The Coiste na nÓg annual meeting will take place in the clubhouse tonight Tuesday, December 6, at 8 p.m. This is a very important night for parents of underage boys where the past year will be reviewed and plans put in place for 2017. It is most important that each family is represente­d at this meeting with everyone being given an opportunit­y to get involved in discussion­s, planning, etc. The adult AGM will take place on Sunday, December 11, at 2 p.m. in the clubhouse with Mass for the deceased members on Saturday the 10th at 7 p.m. in Kilmuckrid­ge.

GOLF CLASSIC – Buffers Alley GAA Club is organising a club golf classic in Blackwater Golf Club on Friday, December 30 – €50 for team of three and €30 for junior team. Please book with Murth Mangan – 087 1688569 as soon as possible.
