Bree are best in battle with Bunclody

Division3

A James Parle goal was enough to settle the big Division 3 clash on Sunday as Bree United edged out Bunclody 1-0.

Enniscorth­y United are hot on the heels of the leaders as they continued their good form with a 3-0 win in Ferns. Ger Molloy, Conor Bolger and James Sheridan got their goals.

Nicky Sinnott bagged four goals for Cushinstow­n as his side won a thriller 5-4 in Caim, with Conor O’Neill also scoring for the winners.

Dylan Murphy got both goals for New Ross Celtic as they saw off Oylegate 2-0, while The Ballagh won 2-1 away to Raheen with goals from Craig Davitt and Ian Storey.

Division3A

After slipping to their first defeat of the season the previous weekend Wexford Albion got back to winning ways in style with a 6-2 victory over Castledock­rell.

Kenny Hunt and Jamie Thomas both netted doubles for the leaders, with Eddie Pitman and Ian McGuire adding a goal apiece.

Second-placed Bridge Rovers also picked up three points by edging out Kilmore United on their travels.

Rosbercon United registered a 2-0 win over Curracloe with goals from Ger Marmion and Philip O’Connor, while Campile won 4-2 away to Wexford Celtic.

Daniel O’Brien hit the back of the net four times as Courtown Hibs hit Camolin for six, with Edmondo and Jack O’Brien getting the other goals.

Division4

Table-toppers Crossabeg picked up another three points on Sunday as they edged out Moyne Rangers 2-1 with goals from Conor Keeling and Pascal Rossiter.

Rosslare Rangers are just five points behind the leaders with two games in hand after a Tyrone O’Reilly strike was enough to beat Wexford Bohs 1-0.

All Blacks overcame Gorey Celtic 4-1 on Friday evening with goals from Mark Doyle, Shane Sinnott (two) and Aaron Wright-Power.

Carne FC were much too good for bottom side Enniscorth­y United, winning 9-1 thanks to a hat-trick from Robbie Reville, doubles from Fergie Buckley and Leigh Aylward and a goal apiece from Dean Maloney and Denver Kinsella.

Corach Ramblers and St. Leonards shared the spoils after a 2-2 draw, with Darragh O’Connor and Conor Neville scoring for Corach and John Flynn replying with a double for the saints.

Division4A

Like their first team Cloughbawn’s second string strengthen­ed their grip at the top of the division on Sunday with a 4-2 win over Ajax Athletic.

Dean Murphy netted a double for the league leaders, while Kevin Murphy and Stephen Kennedy added a goal apiece.

Jamie Cahill (two), John Doyle and Seán Hayden got the goals for Taghmon United as they overwhelme­d Shamrock Rovers 4-0, while a John Ryan strike was enough for Tombrack to collect the points against Boolavogue.

Division5

Wexford Albion eked out a precious 3-2 win in the top of the table clash against Castledock­rell on Sunday.

The sides drew 3-3 the previous weekend but this time Albion did just enough to take the three points, with TJ Cousins and Cian Rossiter (two) getting the goals.

A Josh Whitehead double helped Ballymurn to a 2-1 win over St. Cormac’s to move them up into second spot, while Willie Banville and Dean Donnelly (two) got the goals for Stoney Rovers as the won 3-1 in Cushinstow­n.
