JJ heads up Bank of Ireland in county

JJ KEYES has been appointed Head of Bank of Ireland in County Wexford.

Mr Keyes has leadership responsibi­lity for generating and promoting economic activity in Wexford, across enterprise, community and branch banking. He is also Head of Bank of Ireland, County Wicklow.

With 19 years’ financial experience, Mr Keyes is a customer focused financial and banking service manager. He has worked as Head of Capability, Bank of Ireland and Area Manager for the South East region. Prior to joining Bank of Ireland, he was Head of Finance and Insurance with GE Capital. He was also an Account Manager with Cadbury Ireland.

His profession­al training is in accountanc­y and financial services.

Meanwhile Treasa O’Neill, who has worked as Business Manager in Carlow, and Branch Manager in Wexford and New Ross, has been appointed Head of Bank of Ireland, County Carlow. Ms O’Neill has leadership responsibi­lity for generating and promoting economic activity in Carlow, across enterprise, community and branch banking. She is also Head of Bank of Ireland, County Kildare.

With 16 years’ experience, Ms O’Neill is an experience­d customer focused financial and banking service manager. She and as Area Manager covering Kildare, Laois and Offaly. She has a BA Degree from UCD and Postgradua­te Diploma from the Michael Smurfit Business School UCD. Originally from Myshall, County Carlow, where she has played camogie and football with her local club, Ms O’Neill played club and county camogie with Myshall and Carlow, winning an All-Ireland Junior Club, four Leinster Medals and Senior County Championsh­ips medals.
