GAA CLUB NOTES

There is one more chance to win the club lotto before Christmas. The jackpot is now at €5,500. The next draw takes place on Monday, December 19, in Noels. The numbers from the draw on the fifth were 10, 22, 24 and 26. There were three matchthree winners.

A reminder that the 2017 hurling and camogie under-14 feile takes place over the weekend of the June 16 to June 18 next year. We expect to host both a boys and a girls visiting team.

The first game in 2017 shall be the under-18 footballer­s in the Jim Byrne cup on Sunday, January 8. No more details yet.

WHIST

Top score at last week’s whist was won by Eamon Hayes first gent was Micheál Murphy second gent was shared by Tom Cullen and Noel Carter half time gent was Keith Bailey First lady was Deirdre Power second lady was Kathleen Carr third lady was May Sinnott and half time was Peg Kennedy Raffle winners on the night were Jack Gethings Betty Rose and Ann Cowman. Whist continues on Wednesday night at 8.30 p.m. The Christmas Whist takes place on Wednesday the 21st at 8 p.m.

BADMINTON

Badminton continues in the Community Centre on Monday and Thursday night 9.10 p.m.

CIRCUIT TRAINING

Circuit training with Cathal is ongoing in the Sports Centre Kilanerin on Monday and Wednesday 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. All levels of fitness welcome.

KILANERIN ICA

Yogalates continues on Tuesdays in Kilanerin Hall at 7 p.m. – cost €6 all are welcome.
