FREE KIDS MOVIE St Michael’s Theatre, New Ross, 3 p.m. Wexford County Council, in associatio­n with St Michael’s Theatre are putting on a free surprise Christmas movie for children. ON STREET ENTERTAINM­ENT New Ross town, 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. DJ Tom Redy wil provide on-street entertainm­ent in the town centre for everyone to enjoy. CHRISTMAS CONCERT Gorey Library, 3 p.m. Escape from the Christmas rush to enjoy a seasonal time-out with Gorey Choral Group and readers at the annual Gorey Library Christmas concert. Bring friends and family and enjoy this festive mix of Christmas carols and readings. All are welcome. HFC CONCERT BAND 90TH ANNIVERSAR­Y CONCERT Wexford Arts Centre at 8pm The HFC Concert Band was founded in 1926 and gave its first performanc­e on Christmas Day, 1926, in Rowe Street Church. It has continued with this tradition right up to today and will perform again in Rowe Street Church this Christmas Day. The band is delighted to be giving a concert in Wexford Arts Centre, celebratin­g 90 years of existence. The HFC Concert Band is a community music group based in Wexford Town and facilitate­s people of all ages who have an interest in playing wind music. Anyone who can play a wind instrument is more than welcome to join the band. The band’s Musical Director is Louise Malone. Some noteworthy past members of the band include Pierce Turner and Billy Roche. CHRISTMAS CRAFT FAIR Wexford Arts Centre 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Featuring work by members of Wexford Craft Trail.
