The Davidstown\Courtnacud­dy annual Christmas fundraiser is here again. We will be selling lines for the below prizes in the following locations: Saturday, December 17, Rafter Street Enniscorth­y; Sunday, December 18, Annes Street Wexford. YOUTH CLUB

Congratula­tions to all teams who took part in Astro Turf soccer tournament on Friday, November 28. Under-12s mixed team played very well but just lost out on a place. under-15 and under-18 girls soccer won and are through to all-Ireland finals in June 2017. All the best.

‘WHO’S GOT TALENT’

Heat two of ‘Who’s Got Talent’ takes place on Saturday night, January 6. Heat three is on January 7 and the Grand Final is on Saturday, January 21. BOOK LAUNCH

‘Castleboro, A Lost legacy’ by Damian Cullen will be launched on Thursday, December 15, at 8.30 p.m. in the Cloch Ban, Clonroche. This book gives a histor- ical insight into the Castleboro estate from its foundation to its demise and from the arrival of the Carew family to their departure. Packed full of local history and photos, it will make great reading.
