CHRISTMAS MASS TIMES

Christmas Eve Mass in St Patrick’s Church, Kiltealy will be at 7 p.m. Christmas morning Mass will be at 10 a.m.

Christmas Eve Mass in St Colman’s Church, Ballindagg­in will be at 9 p.m. Mass on Christmas morning in St Colman’s will be at 11 a.m. and all children are asked to attend this Mass and bring a toy they received from Santa to be blessed during the celebratio­n.

PARK DEVELOPMEN­T

A public meeting will be held in Ballindagg­in Community Hall TONIGHT Tuesday, December 20, at 8 p.m. for all the community to view the proposed plans for the Community Park developmen­t, (playing pitch, walking track, playground and picnic area) located beside the school. This is a community project and you are all welcome and your support would be appreciate­d. This project will benefit young and old alike, there will be a place for everyone to enjoy themselves in this park.

5K FUN RUN

There will be a Christmas Fest 5km family fun run on St Stephen’s day December 26, starting point Kiltealy Hall 2.30 p.m., adults €5 and child €2. Refreshmen­ts will be served in the Community Centre afterwards. Come along for a run, jog or walk. A great day out for all the family. All proceeds in aid of the proposed community Developmen­t beside Kiltealy Community Centre.

SOCIAL

The last social for 2016 will be held in Kiltealy Community Hall on Friday, December 30. Doors open 9.30 p.m., teas served, sure to be a great Christmas time night out.

DUFFRY ROVERS

Work on the Duffry Rovers grounds in Coolree is now completed. The walking track has been resurfaced and new lighting installed. It’s great to see so many people using the track every night. New toilets which are wheelchair accessible have also been completed in the car park. Some seats in the new stand can still be purchased. The official opening will now take place later in 2017.

CAMOGIE CLUB NEWS

Duffry Rovers camogie club AGM will take place in Ballindagg­in Community Hall on Friday, January 6, 2017, at 8 p.m. Parents, mentors, intermedia­te panel and committee members are asked to please attend.

As the club will be celebratin­g 40 years next year as a camogie club it’s important to get a large attendance at this meeting. Wishing all a merry and safe Christmas and a special thank you to all who helped out in any way during 2016.

KILTEALY NS
