Top score at last week’s whist was won by Seán Murphy; First lady was Lilly Kavanagh; second lady was Eileen Furlong; third lady was Ann Fleming; half time lady was Peg McDonald; first gent was Peg Byrne; second gent was George Gilbert; third gent was Ann Slator and half time gent was Donal Kavanagh; raffle winners on the night were Ann Fleming, Alice Gibney and Sadie Mordaunt; student prizes to Daniel Hederman and Maurice Hederman. Christmas Whist is on next Wednesday night at 8 p.m.

GAA CLUB NOTES

The club agm takes place in the Shamrock hall on Friday, Jan- uary 20, at 8 p.m. Nomination­s and motions to the secretary before then. The developmen­t plans should be finalised by then.

Any teenager who would like to do the Young Whistler refereeing course, please contact Kevin for details. Any boy or girl in the parish who has not previously played with the club, but would like to join in 2017, please contact Kevin (083 1025352) for relevant managers number (note: not for under-sixes just yet).

CHURCH GATE COLLECTION

County Wexford Community Workshop, Bellefield, Enniscorth­y will hold their annual Church Gate Collection in Kilanerin on Saturday, December 31, and Sunday, January 1, 2017. All money collected will stay in the workshop in Bellefield, your support is very greatly appreciate­d.
