SCHOOL REUNION
Clonegal’s first ever School Reunion will be held in the Mill Race Hotel, Bunclody on April 22, 2017. Limited tickets available at €22.50 each, which includes a four course meal, finger food and live band. Bus will transfer from Dunne’s, Clonegal to the hotel and back again. For further details, a meeting will be held in Dunne’s Lounge on Tuesday, January 10, 2017, at 8.30 p.m., all are welcome to attend. COMMUNITY GAMES
Basketball – training continues in Ballon Community Centre on Wednesdays. Under-11 Boys and girls from 5: 30 – 6.30 p.m., under-13 Boys and girls from 6: 30-7.30 p.m. under-11 mixed finals will take place on Sunday, January 8, 2017, at 10 a.m. in Graiguecullen. under-13 Girls final will take place on Saturday, January 28, at 1.30 p.m. in St Leo’s. under-13 Boys final to be held on Sunday, January 29, in St Leo’s at 9.30 a.m. For further details, please contact Bernie at 087 9352665.
Make and Model – The club have organised model making classes on Friday the 13th, January 20 and 27 in St Brigid’s hall, Clonegal. Fee €3 per class. The area final will take place on Friday, February 3, in Clonegal with registration at 6 p.m. and competition commencing at 6.30 p.m. for under-10s – U16’s. under-8 competition will be held at last training session on Friday, January 27. Quiz and tag rugby – First training session for quiz will be held on Thursday, January 19, in Clonegal. The final of the table quiz under-14 competition will take place on Saturday, February 11, in Askea Boys School Carlow at 6 p.m. Tag rugby training will commence on Saturday, January 7, at 2 p.m. in Ardattin for under-11 and under-14 mixed teams. SONG AND STORY
The house of song and Story will take place on Monday, January 16, 2017, at 8 p.m. in St Brigid’s Community Hall. Once again the kettle will be on the boil the ladies committee will look after the guests. Top class entertainers will be on the stage and a full house is expected.
