OPERATIONTRANSFORMATION
Crossabeg-Ballymurn Ladies’ Gaelic Football Club Presents ‘Operation Transformation/Between the Bells’. Well done to all, we are over half way there now.
We have organised two walk/ run community days (no charge) in Crossabeg and Ballymurn over the next few weeks. The first one was in Crossabeg last Sunday and the next one will take place on Sunday, February 19, at midday in Ballymurn – walk/run around the block from the village, out the Screen road past the shop/petrol station and keeping left back to the village hall.
We will have our last night of recording distances on Tuesday, February 21, and have a final night of getting your results on Tuesday, February 28.

CAMOGIE CLUB NEWS
The camogie club will hold some Féile Fundraisers over the coming weeks. Our next clothes collection takes place on Saturday, February 11, from 11 to 12 at the school in Glenbrien. There will also be a clothes collection in Ballymurn on Wednesday, February 15, from 9.10 a.m. across from the hall (school side). Anyone, who would like to donate clothes in Oylegate can drop them into Eamon Mernagh any time. All donations greatly appreciated. Contact Christine 086 8929087 for more info.
We will also host a breakfast day on Saturday, March 18, in the Community Centre in Oylegate to raise money for Féile.
Camogie and Hurling Club Joint Fundraiser: We will host a 10k and 5k timed run/walk on Sunday, March 5, at 10.30 a.m. starting from Oylegate Pitch. Registration for the 10k can be found on runireland.com. Registration for the 5k will be taken on the day. You can also register for the 10k on the day.

Bingo continues every Monday night in the Anvil, Ballymurn at 9 p.m.
VINTAGE NEWS
The Over the water vintage club held their AGM on Wednesday night in Ballymurn Hall. The outgoing committee were returned. President Rev Jim Finn, Vice-president Paddy Kenny, chairman John Redmond, Vice-chairman Micheál Scallan, secretary Martin Kearns, treasurer Eamon Nolan route planner Joe Kenny.
A presentation was made to Martin Kearns in recognitation of the trojan work he has done to date. Affiliation fees for 2017 are now due. Six vintage youths accompanied by adult members will travel to Wales on the May bank holiday. The next road run will be organised from Ballymurn on Sunday, April 9.
