Tombrack United 4, Cloughbawn AFC 0: Tombrack got their title ambitions back on track when a strong second-half performanc­e saw them overcome a young Cloughbawn side 4-0.

Shannon McGovern scored in the first-half and added two in the second to complete her hattrick, before her younger sister, Shauna, shot to the net to inflict the first defeat of the season on the visitors.

Bunclody AFC 2, St. Leonards 0: The home side moved back into the title race with this 2-0 win over St. Leonards to give them their third win of the season.

Maeve Sinnott and Ciara Roban scored for a well-organised Bunclody side, while St. Leonards were unable to break down the home side despite creating chances.

U-16Division­2A

Forth Celtic 3, New Ross Town 0: Forth inflicted the first defeat of the season on New Ross Town and have moved to within a point of the leaders after this 3-0 win. After a scoreless first-half, Grace Roche, Sarah Siggins and Michelle Carthy all scored to give the home side a valuable three points.

Gorey Rangers 7, Corach Ramblers 2: The home side picked up their first three points of the season after this 7-2 victory over Corach Ramblers.

Niamh Miller and Alison Gibbons were on target for Ramblers, while Aimee Butler got four goals for Gorey and Siobhán Kennedy, Jessica Wall and Ciara Wilkinson got one each.

U-16Division­2B

Moyne Rangers 1, Arklow Town 7: Shauna Redmond was on target for Moyne in this game but it was not enough for an Arklow side which scored seven to pick up their first win of the season.

Holly Jenkinson, Molly Garland and Ella Jenkinson all scored two each for Town while Regan Doyle also found the net

St. Joseph’s 0, Camolin Celtic 4: Camolin ensured themselves of promotion after this 4-0 win away to St. Joseph’s, and they remain two points clear at the top of the table.

Emma Carton scored twice for the visitors with Anna Byrne and Megan Doyle also on target.

Wexford Celtic 6, Carnew FC 2: Celtic kept the pressure on the leaders after overcoming Carnew to pick up their sixth win of the season and remain unbeaten.

Ashling O’Sullivan scored a hat-trick for the home side with Ava O’Donohue adding two while Holly Rossiter also found the net. Madeline Nolan and Maude Robinson were on target for the visitors.
