Clonroche Playschool is currently taking bookings for enrolments for September 2017. We are almost full to capacity so if you would like your child to avail of a space in the setting, please contact Tracy at 087 1265377. All children from three years are now eligible for two years free in an ECCE setting. Clonroche National School Clonroche NS are now accepting enrolments for the academic year 2017-2018. Enrolment forms can be obtained by calling to the school office or by contacting Margaret at 053 9244441.

CLOUGHBAWN GAA

There is a Club Members Registrati­on evening on Friday, February 24, 7.30 p.m. to 9.30 p.m. in the complex at Castleboro.

Club lotto – No jackpot winner in last draw which took place in Aughyvouir on February 4. One match-three winner, Joe Carton. Numbers were 1, 9, 16 and 23. Next Draw on February 18 in the Cloch Bán. Jackpot now at €7,900.

RIP. Sr. Julie – The club wishes to extend their sympathy to the Harrington family on the death of Sr. Julie, of Notre Dame Missions, Dundrum, formerly of Castleboro in her 102nd year. Interred in Mount Venus cemetery on Tuesday after requiem Mass in Dundrum. The last of the Harrington siblings of her era, she was one of six Harrington sisters who became Nuns, surely a record. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam.

COMMUNITY GAMES

Due to the interest in quiz and art local trials will be held in each event. Under-14 Quiz Trials will take place in Bree Hall on this Tuesday the 14th at 8.30 p.m. and U8-16 Art Trials will take place in Bree Hall from 10 a.m. to midday on Saturday next, February 18. All participan­ts must be under an age on August 1, eg under-eight may not have reached their eighth birthday before that date. DANCE NIGHT

Mr Accordion Man, Adrian Ryan is coming to the John Kelly Memorial Hall in Rathnure on Saturday, February 18, at 10 p.m. Admission €8 on the door with refreshmen­ts included.
