North End United moved into second place in the Premier Division, just a point behind leaders Gorey Rangers, as they comfortabl­y saw off the challenge of Kilmore on Sunday.

Andy Moore opened the scoring for the Wexford town side, with the recently-returned duo Paul Murphy (penalty) and Shane Dempsey adding to the advantage.

Murphy then added his second to complete a comfortabl­e 4-0 victory.

Leighton Gleeson grabbed a hat-trick for Courtown Hibs as they saw off bottom side Campile United 4-0, with Eugene O’Brien getting the other goal for the north county outfit.

New Ross Celtic came out on top against Gorey Celtic, winning 3-0 with goals from Eoin Rhodes, Mark Lee and Seán Culleton.

Rosslare Rangers chalked up a 3-1 win away to Bunclody, with Niall Walsh, Lee Donoghue and Danny Ennis getting the goals for the visitors. Elsewhere Shamrock Rovers and Moyne Rangers drew 0-0 (see focus match).

Division1

Corach Ramblers and Bridge Rovers look likely to battle it out for the Division 1 title and they both picked up three points on Sunday.

John Staples was the match-winner for Ramblers, netting both goals in his side’s 2-0 win away to Tombrack, while Bridge Rovers were much too good for Wexford Bohs, winning 5-1 with doubles from Kevin Murphy and Terry Gainfort and a goal from Derek Walsh. Forth Celtic and St. Cormac’s played out a 0-0 draw.

Division2

Shelburne moved three points clear at the top of Division 2 after overwhelmi­ng Stoney Rovers 5-1 on Sunday.

Chris Connick, Jamie O’Dowd, Brian Lynch, Paddy Murphy and Brian Minogue all got on the scoresheet for the winners.

North End United were held to a scoreless draw by Fastnet Rovers, while Wexford Celtic won 4-0 way to Gorey Rangers with goals from Darren Lambert (two), Willie Lambert and Eoin Reck.

Ian White and Conor Hickey both netted doubles for Adamstown, with Kieran Finn getting their other goal as beat Ajax Athletic 5-2.

Division2A

Cloughbawn edged a step closer to the Division 2A title by outclassin­g Killenagh Wanderers 6-1 on Sunday.

Willie Murphy and Cillian Doyle both netted doubles, with Seán McCann and Stephen Mahon also hitting the back of the net.

Danny Norris (two) and Ciarán Carty got on the scoresheet for North End but they were held to a 3-3 draw by Forth Celtic.

Duncannon edged out Enniscorth­y Town 2-1, while Rosslare Port easily accounted for Rathnure, winning 7-0 with doubles from Jamie McMahon and Shane Byrne plus goals from Damien Breslin, Stephen Redmond and Mark Flood.

Division3

Oylegate fought back from 2-1 down to edge out Ferns United 3-2 with goals from John McCormack, Barry Dunne (penalty) and Jamie Reck.

Division3A

Wexford Albion inched ever closer to clinching the Division 3A crown after winning 5-0 in Courtown on Sunday.

Elliott Malone, Pierce Dooley, Paul Dempsey, Dion Murphy and Eddie Pitman got the goals for the champions in waiting.

Bridge Rovers made sure the champagne had to be put on ice for a little while longer as they saw off Castledock­rell 4-2, with Paddy Kavanagh and Kevin Rellis scoring for the losers.

Patrick Connick got the only goal of the game as Shelburne defeated Camolin 1-0.

Division4

This is definitely the hardest to call of all the divisions and on Sunday Wexford Bohs dented Carne’s title ambitions with a 3-1 victory.

Ian Farrell, Chris Downes and Nicky Hynes scored for the Wexford town side.

Division4A

St. Joseph’s chalked up a handsome victory against Ajax Athletic on Sunday, winning 7-0 with goals from Paul Weldon, Gary Doran, Seán Keane, Callum O’Reilly (two) and Liam Evans (two).

Taghmon United won 3-1 away to Rosslare Port with goals from Chris Cullen (two) and Tom Banville, while Bree United also chalked up a 3-1 win on their travels, with Paddy Carley, Kevin Ring and Dean Doyle getting on the scoresheet.

Division5

The title may have been beyond them with Wexford Albion taking the honours, but second-placed Castledock­rell ran out 3-0 winners over Duncannon, with goals from Paddy Somers, Paddy Kavanagh and Colm Quigley.

Ken King, Josh Whitehead, Shane Whelan and David Kehoe got the goals for Ballymurn as they beat Camolin Celtic 4-1, while St. Cormac’s and Killenagh drew 1-1.
