Relocation from St Michael’s Road has completely transformed the business

-

After 30 years in Gorey town, Boland’s of Gorey moved to a brand new purpose-built 40,000 sq.ft. showroom on the outskirts of the town last summer. Based on the old Arklow Road at Ballyloughan Business Park, just two minutes from the M11 (take junction 22), Boland’s is fast becoming a destination outlet for those looking to spruce up their home.

The move from St Michael’s Road has completely transformed the business which was originally established by John and Lilly Boland in 1986.

Since 2004, their son Michael has joined them in running the business. ‘We were in an old coach builders building which was several hundred years old, and we had no parking,’ explained Michael. He said that they now offer one of Ireland’s largest furniture and flooring showrooms, with ample free parking, which encourages customers to view the store at their own leisure.

You can even get a bite to eat or a coffee while you’re there. Boland’s recently opened The Robin’s Nest café which offers breakfast, soup, sandwiches, and snacks.

If you’re looking to furnish any room in your house, you’ll get lots of ideas in Boland’s. The friendly and experienced staff are only too happy to help.

Boland’s of Gorey is open seven days a week: 9.30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday to Saturday, and 1.30 p.m. to 5.30 p.m. on Sundays and bank holidays.
