LOURDES TICKETS
Tickets will be on sale after Masson weekend of March 19 in Castledockrell and Marshalstown Churches to help send invalids to Lourdes on the Diocesan Pilgrimage from May 17 to May 22. Tickets cost €2 each, three for €5 or a book of six for €10. All support would be appreciated. Thank you.
SOCIAL
The next social in Marshalstown Community Centre takes place on St Patrick’s night (Friday, March 17). Music by Declan Aungier that great accordion player. Doors open 9.30 p.m. Dancing starts at 10 p.m. Always a lovely night out with tea, music and a great atmosphere. Admission is €7 including tea.
STORYTELLING
The next session of storytelling in Castledockrell Hall is on Thursday, March 16, at 8 p.m. There will be a raffle on the night. Tea served. Looking forward to seeing friends old and new.

Confirmation for the children from Marshalstown and Castledockrell takes place in the Church of All Saints, Castledockrell on Thursday, March 30, at 11 a.m.

First Holy Communion is in St Joseph’s Church, Marshalstown on Saturday, May 13, and in the Church of All Saints, Castledockrell on Sunday, May 14.

The AGM of Marshalstown community centre is to be held on Tuesday, March 28, at 8 p.m. in the community centre.

Bingo is played every Tuesday night at 8.30 p.m. in Rathnure hall. Rathnure Bingo is active on Facebook, search ‘Rathnure Bingo’ and like our page. Thank you. The Bingo jackpot on Tuesday the 14th is €1,800.

The Social Club meets every Thursday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. in Rathnure hall, for bingo, chat, tea and goodies. Come along and join in the fun.
GAA CLUB LOTTO
The numbers drawn last Tuesday the seventh were 15, 16, 23 and 28. No jackpot winner. SCHOOL ENROLMENTS
Rathnure National School invites applications from parents who wish to enrol their child for September 2017. At present there are 174 pupils in the School and eight teachers. Currently each pupil qualifies for our free lunch scheme. School transport system is in operation. Enrolment forms are available from the School office from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday to Friday.
