Cllr John O’Rourke will be hosting a clinic in Oylegate community centre on Wednesday, March 15, from 10.30 a.m. for the Oylegate, Glenbrien and Ballymurn areas.

CAMOGIE FUNDRAISER

We will host a breakfast day on Saturday, March 18, in the Community Centre in Oylegate to raise money for Féile.

CHURCH GATE COLLECTION

A church gate collection in aid of Fighting Blindness will take place on March 18 and 19. All proceeds go to research of all eye conditions to enable treatments and cures. For more informatio­n contact Brenda 087 9256769.

Congratula­tions to John Foley, who was the club’s nomination for a district award this year. John has given great service to the club over many years, he was club secretary for a number of years and was also assistant club treasurer and is currently a committee member. He has collected the penny bank on behalf of the club for a long time and helps sell lotto tickets and attends the draw every Wednesday night. John was presented with his award at the district awards night last Saturday. Well done John it is well deserved.

VINTAGE NEWS

The next Over the Water Vintage run will take place on Sunday, April 9, starting in Ballymurn at 12 30 in aid of Ballymurn Hall.

GOLF CLASSIC
