CLONEE LFC

Our table quiz has been rescheduled for Friday, March 24, in Askamore Hall. Apologies for any inconvenience. Thanks to everyone who helped in anyway for our recent Presentation Night.

Under-16, under-18 and adult training is on Tuesday and Thursday at 7.30 p.m. Matches have started back, please check the Facebook.

SCHOOL ENROLMENT

Enrolment forms for September 2017 are now available from the school office between 9.30 a.m. and 12.30 p.m. We would be very grateful if you might mention this to anybody you know or live near who might have a child of school going age. Over the next couple of years we will have large classes graduating and so it is very important to our school to maintain a healthy enrolment.

DEVELOPMENT GROUP

A community litter pick is planned for Saturday, March 18, to help kick start our efforts to keep our roads litter-free this year, for the North Wexford 2K Clean and An Taisce Spring Clean. We are asking homeowners to clean up the stretch of road 20 meters on both sides of your property as it makes our litter pickers task a lot easier.

We are collecting white goods from the Ballyduff area to be brought into our local Recycle Centre so if you have anything you would like included please contact or message 087 8274447 to organise collection.

We will be holding a ‘ plant swap and sale’ this year so while you are tidying your gardens maybe you would consider saving some baby plants or cuttings in pots or plant a few extra seeds to help support our ‘Plant swap’.

Be sure to drop in to Kevin Doyle’s, Clonee for our ‘ Crafty Cuppa’ on Tuesdays mornings from 10 a.m. to midday. Come along and learn to crochet and help us knit/crochet little hats for this year’s Innocent Big Knit. Please contact any member of the group if you would like to have your road included in this year’s 2K clean.

LADIES’ CLUB

The Ladies’ Club will meet next on the second Wednesday in April in Ballyduff NS when we look forward to seeing everyone again and hopefully some new faces too.
