S.B.R’s Bernard Fortune continued his great track record in mountain racing on Saturday, winning the I.M.R.A. Annagh Hill Climb by more than 30 seconds over a quality field. Well done Bernard.

At the Gorey Parkrun on Saturday, Michael Sweeney ran a P.B. in 21:20 for 5k to place fifth in a field of 70. Well done Michael.

At the Parkrun in Wexford, Louise Kehoe and Elisa Leacy both had great days. Elisa finished in 25:28 with Louise in 25:30. Well done.

At the Ballycotto­n 10 Mile on Sunday, Myles Gibbons was first S.B.R. man home in 57:45, and Belinda Kehoe was the first S.B.R. woman home in a new P.B. of 1:14:02.

S.B.R. had nearly 20 finishers in some great times despite a windy first half to the race. Well done to all who travelled down.

S.B.R. had a large contingent out at the Gaelscoil 5k in Enniscorth­y, with full results still pending. Paul Gibbons was SECOnd in 17:37 and Joe Lillis third in 18:35 in the abbreviate­d results. Well done to all of the Couch to 5K runners who had their first race here today.
