ST PATRICK’S DAY COMHALTAS EVENING Wexford Arts centre, Saturday, March 18, 8 p.m.

An evening of muisic, song, dance, poetry and story will take place in Wexford Arts Centre on Saturday, March 18, to celebrate the St Patrick’s weekend. The event is organised by the Wexford branch of Comhaltas Ceoiltóiri Eireann. All are welcome to attend. The starting time is 8 p.m.

PHOTO EXHIBITION Market House Design, Gorey, daily until Saturday, March 18

An exhibitibi­on of photograph­ic images of north Wexford is continuing at Market House Design in Gorey until Saturday, March 18. The display is the culminatio­n of a competitio­n held as part of ‘Seven Days of Love Gorey’ last year. People were invited to submit images that depicted north Wexford. The gallery is open from 9.30 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day.

MICK FLANNERY CONCERT Greenacres, Wexford, Friday, March 31, 8.30 p.m.

Lantern Events present Mick Flannery in Greenacres, Wexford on Friday, March 31, at 8.30 p.m. The Cork musician has a new album ‘I Own You’ featuring songs that are more socially aware than his previous work and offering a different, more modern sound. The music was inspired by inequality and current events around the world. It begins at 8.30 pm.

‘THE FLOOD’ MULTI-SENSORY PLAY Wexford Arts Centre, Tuesday, April 25, 8 p.m.

A live multi-sensory play in the dark for a blind and sighted audience will be presented by Carpet Theatre in Wexford Arts Centre on Tuesday, April 25. at 8 p.m. Devised by Ciarán Taylor with Karl Quinn and Roger Gregg, the audio play, entitled ‘The Flood’, is designed to be accessible for blind and visually impaired audiences to enjoy along with a sighted audience. The audience is invited to close their eyes as Carpet Theatre presents the fasctinati­ng drama in the dark with live music, sound effects and smells swirling around them.
