IN 1987, Sinnott Autos Limited first opened a petrol station and Volkswagen dealership at the late Bob Jackson’s Bollarney Motors and in 2003 Paul and John Sinnott undertook a major redevelopment. Today, this state of the art premises stands proudly on the original site.

In 2011, Paul and John opened a second car dealership and Sinnott Skoda was established. Located close to the Volkswagen showroom, it has the honour of becoming the largest Skoda dealership in Ireland.

From the very first time the doors opened, 30 years ago, Sinnott Autos was embraced by the community. The growth of this company is as a direct result of the loyalty of their customers over the years. Today their customer base not only includes Wicklow, but has extended to include customers from South Dublin and Wexford.

Sinnott Autos are grateful to their customers and are very aware of the vital role that the community have played in the company’s success. If it were not for their custom, the business would not be open after thirty years. As acknowledgement of this fact, Sinnott Autos are enthusiastic in their support of local clubs and organisations.

Over the years Sinnott Autos have also had a committed association with local Clubs, supplying jerseys and sponsorship; Tennis club, Rugby club, Angling Club, Rowing Club, Golf Club, Soccer Club, GAA, to name but a few. Likewise, local charity events and school fundraising event support is given and their association with community events, such as Wicklow Regatta and St. Patrick’s Day parade, has been unwavering since they first opened their doors 30 years ago.

Customer satisfaction is what drives Sinnott Autos and their commitment to provide the highest possible levels of quality, professionalism and excellence to their customers has been acknowledged by Wicklow Chamber of Commerce, who awarded them Best Service Provider in 2010; A worthy testament to the dedication and diligence of all the staff who work there.

Sinnott Autos have twice received the coveted Diamond Pin Award, which is Volkswagen’s top honour for excellence. As this award is given to only 65 dealers worldwide annually, verifying the high esteem held for Sinnott Autos by Volkswagen Group.

The Gold Pin award, which is the second highest award given by Volkswagen to a mere 90 dealers worldwide, has also been awarded to Sinnott Autos on three occasions.

Sinnott Autos have a low turnover of staff. Some employees have worked for the Company since the 90’s and the majority of employees have been working with the Company for over ten years.

With regular training to update their skills, this is a team with a high level of proficiency and expertise in their relevant section of the garage. Each employee is an important member of the team, contributing to the provision of first class service to each and every one of our customers. 30 years later, Paul and John work alongside a team of 40 employees who continue with the tradition of dedication to exceptional service to customers, where customer satisfaction is paramount.
