OUR focus this week at the NWSPCA is on our kennels as they are extremely busy.
We have quite a number of gorgeous doggy guests who have come to us in several different ways. Some are abandoned, some are strays, and some we have been asked to re-home due to owners being really unwell and they are desperate to get their beloved pets looked after and taken care of.

In the kennels, Juno, a lovely Westie, is looking for her retirement home and family. She is just 12 years young. She gets along great with other dogs and had been spayed, chipped and vaccinated. Sadly, Juno’s owner is very unwell and will not be returning home. Can you offer this lovely doggie a comfortable home?
Emma is two-and-a-half years old. She is a gentle Jack Russell Terrier who, through no fault of her own, needs a new home. Her owner recently had to go for a stay in hospital and sadly won’t be coming home. Emma is spayed, vaccinated and micro-chipped.
Jenny is a mild mannered and gentle JRT who loves her rubs. She is five years young and would love to have a new home where she can feel loved. She is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped.
Pudsy is an absolute dote! He is so cute and would just love to have your company. He is a four-year-old wire haired terrier who is on the lookout for a new home. He would love a fresh start. He is good with children and gets on well with other dogs too. Pudsy has been neutered, vaccinated, micro-chipped and treated against kennel cough.
Mel is a young female JRT. She is a sweet, gentle girl who is looking for a new loving home. Mel is spayed, vaccinated and micro-chipped.
Meet Messi. He is just five months old and although he looks big in the photo. He is just Corgi sized and looks like a teddy bear. He is a little shy and timid but a total sweetheart. Messi is neutered, vaccinated and micro-chipped.
If you are interested in helping the NWSPCA, we have several opportunities for volunteers. We need dog walkers, cat carers, shop workers, fosterers and general fund raisers.
