FAMILY RESOURCE CENTRE

CIRCLE OF FRIENDS

On April 4, 11, 18 and 25 we will hold a Health and Fitness month with Michelle a trained instructor who will help us to exercise and have a healthy eating plan through fun. This is also open to all woman of a certain age.

BEECHBROOK PARK

Help clean-up the estate meet up on the second Saturday of each month at 10 a.m. Next meet up is on Saturday, April 8. Clean up dates for 2017: April 8, May 13, June 10, July 8, August 12, September 9.

Please remember that in order for us all to live in a nice environmen­t it is the responsibi­lity of us all to help with the upkeep of the estate. As you will appreciate weed killer and petrol for the mower does not come free and we are looking for a voluntary contributi­on of €20 per household (you can pay €2 per month or any amount you can afford). Please take your contributi­on to Lesley at No. 53. Thank you to those who have already contribute­d.

Easter Weekend the Exhibition/Photo Competitio­n will be open daily from midday to 4 p.m. Entry is free to all. Costs 50c per vote. Can vote as many times as you like. Good Friday Coffee Evening – This will be the official opening of the Photo Comp/Exhibition. Cllr Mary Farrell to officially open the event. €3 entry will include tea or coffee, cake, music/entertainm­ent and a raffle.

Spring Clean/North Wexford 2K clean – Spring clean will be Sunday, April 23, midday please contact a member of Tidy Towns if you would like to help out. North Wexford 2K clean Tidy Towns will be entering Morriscast­le Road, Tinteskin Close leading 2k out of the village, this competitio­n runs for the month of April. The annual Mr Personalit­y Festival will take place in the Springhill Court Hotel, Kilkenny from April 7 to April 9. The winner will be announced at midnight at the after party on Saturday, April 8, with Live Band, Hot Fuss and DJ Tickets Cost €15 and can be bought at the door on the night.
