GAA CLUB NOTES

team of the week goes to the under-14 girls who have been playing very well in challenge games only to have their fixture game postponed last Thursday due to the weather. However, between football and camogie, these girls will be busy in the coming weeks.

The first under-12 boys fixture is on April 18 and the under-14 boys start on April 13, with the Wexford football feile on April 9.

Last weekend, the adult hurlers went down to Shamrocks by one point, while both the Adult B team and the minor footballer­s were given walkovers by Rapperees and Blackwater respective­ly. The minor hurlers were defeated by Rathnure on Sunday.

There was no jackpot winner in the lotto draw on the 27th. There was one match-three winner who gets €200. The numbers were 9, 12, 15 and 16. Next draw, for €6,300, takes place in Noels on April 10.

Work is finally starting on the all weather pitch at the hurling wall, plus the walking track which will surround both pitches. The job should be complete by the end of May.

BUS SERVICE

A fantastic new Bus Service from April 4 will operate in the following areas Coolgreany, Scarnagh, Inch, Kilanerin, Tara Rocks and continue to Gorey. It is services by Gorey Bus Link a local based bus company. Single Journey €4 and a return journey is €7 and will also accept free transport cards. HILL WALKERS
