COMMUNITY GAMES
The Community Games County Talent Competition for under-12s and under-16s takes place in Bree Hall on Saturday, May 13. Competitors from Bree, Davidstown and Cloughbawn parishes are invited to take part. Events are solo and group dancing, singing, music and drama. Entries must be with the area Sec by April 28.
Please check with the area sec (Clare at 087 4151350) or the Community Games website under Resources/Rule Book of each event. The local Athletic Finals will take place on Thursday, May 11.
BREE AC ATHLETICS
Congratulations to Aoife Cloke Rochford on winning a silver medal in the 60m at the National Indoor Championships. Outdoor athletics resumes for the summer season in Ballyhogue GAA Grounds on Mondays and Wednesday at 7 p.m. from this Monday, April 3, All athletes taking part must be registered for 2017. Indoor training has finished till October.
