SPRING CLEAN
The annual spring clean will take place in Ballindaggin on Saturday, April 8, and your support is needed to litter pick along the roadsides of Ballindaggin. Will meet at the church car park at 9.30 a.m. to collect bags, gloves and litter pickers to begin the clean-up. Alternatively collect equipment at Jordan’s shop and contribute at a time that suits you. All collected litter to be left at ‘The Scales’.
DANCE
Dancing in Kiltealy Communi- ty Hall on Easter Sunday night, April 16, to the music of Pat Daly. Admission €8, dancing from 9.30 p.m.
This is a fundraising dance for the Irish fishing team who are taking part in the world championships in France in the summer as Seán Cushen, Kiltealy is a team member.

SPLIT THE POT
Winner of Kiltealy NS split-thepot last week was Martin O’Connor, Ballycrystal, who won €211. Play split-the-pot every week, envelopes available locally. Many thanks for your continued support.
The next clothes recycle at Kiltealy NS will be on Monday, May 8, The school shelter will be open the previous week during school hours to facilitate drop off of clothes.
ST COLMAN’S NS
The parents’ council of Ballindaggin NS would like to thank all who supported the social dancing night in the Millrace Hotel last week. A great night was had by all and over €1,000 was raised for the building fund. Thanks again to everyone.
DUFFRY ROVERS LOTTO
The numbers drawn last week were 5, 18, 24 and 30. Congratulations to jackpot winner Adrian Dunne c/o Lisa Frayne, who scooped the jackpot of €3,800 last week. No match three. Lucky-dip winners were Terry Barnes, Ann Walsh and Ann Murphy. The draw tonight (Tuesday. Apl. Fourth) is in Jordan’s, Ballindaggin. The jackpot is €1,500.
SOCIAL AND TEA
The monthly social and tea will be held in Rathanna Community Hall on Sunday night next April 9 with music by ‘Midnight Sound’. Admission €8.
TABLE QUIZ
The Duffry Rovers annual table quiz will be held in Ballindaggin Community Hall on Good Friday night, April 14, at 9.30 p.m. 100 general knowledge questions. Teams of four adults €40, students teams €20, includes tea and biscuits.
The proceeds of the night will go towards the underage 14 hurlers who are taking part in the Féile in June. The Féile will be held in counties Wexford, Carlow and Kilkenny. Duffry Rovers will club will host a team from Co. Antrim during the games.
SYMPATHY
Deepest sympathy is extended to the family of the late Patrick (Paddy) Flynn, Ballinlug West, Killanne, who died on Wednesday, March 29, To his sister Kitty and extended family, neighbours and friends we extend our deepest sympathy. Paddy’s wife Sylvia pre-deceased him in January 2010. Interment took place in Kiltealy Cemetery on Saturday last following funeral Mass in Kiltealy Church. May he rest in peace.
BEST MARCHING BAND
Congratulations to Ballindaggin Pipe Band on winning the trophy for the best marching band at the St Patrick’s Day parade in Enniscorthy.
