DEMENTIA INFO EVENING
The Circle of Friends is hosting an open information evening in the KMH, Kilmuckridge on Tuesday, May 9, from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m. Guest speaker from Wexford General Hospital. All very welcome.
COLÁISTE AN ÁTHA
The parents’ association of Coláiste an Átha, Kilmuckridge, will host their annual coffee morning in the Lounge of the Crosses Pub in Kilmuckridge from 10 a.m. to midday on Friday, May 12. Tickets are available at the college reception during the school day or just come along on the day. There will be lots of door and raffle prizes.
The parents’ association are involved in many aspects of school life, helping out at the Open Night, the Enrolment Night, first year Parent’s Information Evening, policy development and fundraising to mention but a few. All are welcome to attend the coffee morning and your support will be very much appreciated.
SYMPATHY
Sympathy is extended to the family of the late Martin Dempsey, Kyle Farm, Kyle Oulart, who died recently. Predeceased by his father Martin and sadly missed by his wife Martina (née O’Connor), daughter Olivia, mother Elizabeth, sister Jackie and family, the O’Connor family, Ballymacsimon, extended family, neighbours and friends. RIP.
Sympathy is extended to the family of Lena McGovern, Ballinahask, who died recently. Wife of the late Paul and sadly missed by her son, Paul; daughters Sandra, Tina, Linda and Tara; sister Esther, grandchildren, great grandchildren, in laws, nephews, nieces and extended family. RIP.
FAMILY RESOURCE CENTRE
Kilmuckridge Family Resource Centre has been shortlisted as one of the five community groups that will go forward for the Wexford Community Awards final, which are sponsored by Wexford Local Development. Winners will be announced at the Gala Awards Ceremony in Clayton Whites Hotel on Friday, May 26.
Clothes Bag Collection – Kilmuckridge Family Resource Centre is seeking clean ladies, gents and children’s clothes and paired shoes. The collection date is Thursday, May 4. Please feel free to drop in the bags in to the centre any time before this date. A great opportunity to clear out the wardrobes and make room for the summer collection. Kilmuckridge to Gorey every Wednesday at 9.40 a.m. passing through Cahore 9.55 a.m., Ballygarrett 10 a.m., Riverchapel 10.10, reaches Gorey approx 10.25 a.m. – leaves Gorey at 1 p.m. for return to Kilmuckridge. Kilmuckridge to Gorey every Saturday 12.40 p.m. reaches Gorey approx. 1.25 p.m. – leaves Gorey at 17 p.m. for return to Kilmuckridge.
