There is a coffee morning in the Crosses Friday, May 5, in aid of the Cardiac Unit, Crumlin Hospital from 10 a.m. midday. Door/Raffle prizes. Admission €3. Please support.

DEMENTIA INFO EVENING

The Circle of Friends is hosting an open informatio­n evening in the KMH, Kilmuckrid­ge on Tuesday, May 9, from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m. Guest speaker from Wexford General Hospital. All very welcome.

COLÁISTE AN ÁTHA

The parents’ associatio­n of Coláiste an Átha, Kilmuckrid­ge, will host their annual coffee morning in the Lounge of the Crosses Pub in Kilmuckrid­ge from 10 a.m. to midday on Friday, May 12. Tickets are available at the college reception during the school day or just come along on the day. There will be lots of door and raffle prizes.

The parents’ associatio­n are involved in many aspects of school life, helping out at the Open Night, the Enrolment Night, first year Parent’s Informatio­n Evening, policy developmen­t and fundraisin­g to mention but a few. All are welcome to attend the coffee morning and your support will be very much appreciate­d.

SYMPATHY

Sympathy is extended to the family of the late Martin Dempsey, Kyle Farm, Kyle Oulart, who died recently. Predecease­d by his father Martin and sadly missed by his wife Martina (née O’Connor), daughter Olivia, mother Elizabeth, sister Jackie and family, the O’Connor family, Ballymacsi­mon, extended family, neighbours and friends. RIP.

Sympathy is extended to the family of Lena McGovern, Ballinahas­k, who died recently. Wife of the late Paul and sadly missed by her son, Paul; daughters Sandra, Tina, Linda and Tara; sister Esther, grandchild­ren, great grandchild­ren, in laws, nephews, nieces and extended family. RIP.

FAMILY RESOURCE CENTRE

Kilmuckrid­ge Family Resource Centre has been shortliste­d as one of the five community groups that will go forward for the Wexford Community Awards final, which are sponsored by Wexford Local Developmen­t. Winners will be announced at the Gala Awards Ceremony in Clayton Whites Hotel on Friday, May 26.

Clothes Bag Collection – Kilmuckrid­ge Family Resource Centre is seeking clean ladies, gents and children’s clothes and paired shoes. The collection date is Thursday, May 4. Please feel free to drop in the bags in to the centre any time before this date. A great opportunit­y to clear out the wardrobes and make room for the summer collection. BRIDGE CLUB

Come play bridge every Thursday morning from 10 a.m. at Seán Óg’s Bridge Club, Upton Court Hotel, Kilmuckrid­ge. No partner needed – we have a joker system in operation – all are welcome.

Kilmuckrid­ge to Gorey every Wednesday at 9.40 a.m. passing through Cahore 9.55 a.m., Ballygarre­tt 10 a.m., Riverchape­l 10.10, reaches Gorey approx 10.25 a.m. – leaves Gorey at 1 p.m. for return to Kilmuckrid­ge. Kilmuckrid­ge to Gorey every Saturday 12.40 p.m. reaches Gorey approx. 1.25 p.m. – leaves Gorey at 17 p.m. for return to Kilmuckrid­ge.
