YOUTH CLUB
The club is hosting an Entertainment Night ‘Let the Youth Entertain You’ on June 9, in Courtnacuddy Community Centre. Starting at 8 p.m. Tickets are available from Youth Club leaders or on the night. Tickets are five euro per person or family ticket €12.

COMMUNITY GAMES
Well done to all local young people representing Co Wexford in the Aldi National Community Games Finals in Abbottstown last weekend. Eva Bailey (Clonroche) won the gold medal in the under-10 Backstroke and Abi Cullen won the bronze medal in the under-12 Freestyle. Others to reach their respective finals were Holly Furlong (under-14 Backstroke) and the squad of Abi, Holly, Jenna Kirwan, Hannah Fitzpatrick and Claire Whelan. Others taking part were Ruairi Swan, Ava Whelan and Darragh Kirwan.
Leah Canavan, Michael Roche and Shane Feeley from Davidstown NS won the fourth place medals in the Debating Competition. Abbie Doyle, Gracie Kehoe, Lucy Kehoe, Oscar Redmond, Aoibhinn Crean and Ryan Whelan competed in the Middle Distance Relays with Abbie and Gracie’s team making the final. Tobias Redmond competed in the marathon. Managers for the day were Tracy Cullen and Martina Whelan (Swimming), Paul Doyle (Athletics) and Clare Doyle (Debating).
Well done to the under-10 indoor soccer team which won silver medals as runners-up in the County Final. The team of Con Fraser, Dylan Martin, Sam Kirwan, Cathal Kelly, Ollie Treacy, Cathal Ennis, Nathan Doyle and Cian Doyle played their heart out against Glynn-Barntown to receive the Co silver medals. Thanks to their mentors Linda Martin, Ann Sullivan Doyle and James Murphy.
Hard luck to the boys under-12 soccer team who came up against a very good Castlebridge team in their Co semifinal. Team members were Ben Asple, Lee Broaders, Dylan Carr, Mark Dawson, Tadhg Doyle, Harry Helps, Odhran Kehoe, Darragh Kirwan, Zack Levingston, Travis McCauley, Harvey Montague, Cillian Murphy, Oscar Redmond, Conor Rochford, Sam Twomey and Tiernan Walsh. Mentors were Jason Broaders and James Murphy.
BREE AC NEWS
Great news for Bree AC athlete, Aoife Cloke Rochford, who will travel to Latvia in June to compete in the CSIT World Sports Games. This is a huge achievement for the club and a great opportunity for Aoife. A total of 17 individual gold, nine individual silver and six individual bronze medals as well as three relay gold were won by club athletes in the Co Championships Day one.
The next club outing will be the Leinster Relays Championships are on Sunday next, May 21, in Kildare. Best wishes to all involved.
BREE MACRA
The AGM of Bree Macra Na Feirme will take place next Friday, May 19, at 9 p.m. in Galbally Community Centre. All members are urged to attend with all new faces welcome. Next outing for the club is the county dinner dance taking place on May 27 in the Horse and Hound. Tickets are priced at €30 and there is very limited availability remaining.
