This year Street Rhythms have joined forces with the Strawberry Fair to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the popular Enniscorthy Festival and Willie Wonka’s Wonderland and The Golden Strawberry Ticket will be their biggest production yet.

Children will have the opportunity in the days leading up to the festival to get their Golden Ticket in local businesses around the town.

Each ticket will need to be completed and placed in the drum in the Castle and on Sunday June 4, five lucky winners will be drawn. Each winner will win a huge selection of goodies from Willie Wonka’s Wonderland. A limited number of tickets will be produced, so get in early to get yours.

To win, each entrant will have to be in the Market Square from 4.30 pm onwards on Sunday June 4. Willie Wonka’s Wonderland will be in the grounds and ground floor of Enniscorthy Castle on Sunday June 4.

Children will have the opportunity to sing with their favourite princesses, photo ops with Rapunzel and her tower, water fights with the Pirates of the Carribean, disco dance with Disney characters, play games with a chance to win a ‘Golden Strawberry Ticket’ before entering ‘Willie Wonka’s world’ where the Castle will be transformed in to a heaven of chocolate, giant sweets, lollipop trees, chocolate fountains and much, much more – all managed and produced by the Oompa Loompahs and Willie Wonka.

This promises to be a wonderful day of fun for all the family with the chance of a fabulous prize and as Willie Wonka says: ‘In your wildest dreams you could not imagine the marvellous surprises that await you!’
