STORYTELLI­NG

The next session of storytelli­ng is in Castledock­rell Hall on Thursday, June 15, at 8 p.m. All are welcome to attend this night of entertainm­ent. Tea served and a raffle held on the night. Do come along.

SOCIAL DANCING

The next social in Marshalsto­wn Community Centre takes place on Friday, June 16 (Blooms Day) with music by the ever popular Catherine and Jimmy of the Images. Come along for a great night out with tea, dancing and good company. Admission is €8 including tea, buns and currant bread.

PARISH NIGHT

This year our parish night will be in the Riverside Park Hotel, Enniscorth­y on Sunday, July 9, The night will begin at 8.30 p.m. with Teresa and the Stars followed by Shawn Cuddy and his band. Tickets are on sale at €10 each. All proceeds will be shared with both Parish Churches.

GET WELL

Get well wishes to all from the parish who are ill in hospitals, nursing homes, or at home at present.

CASTLEDOCK­RELL CEMETERY

Following new regulation­s by Wexford County Council these are the guidelines for burials in Castledock­rell Cemetery (and all other cemeteries owned by Wexford County Council). NO burials can take place on a Sunday.

Burials on the other days – Funerals must arrive at cemetery gate by 2 p.m. which means the latest time a Funeral Mass may be celebrated is midday. For further informatio­n or any queries please contact Wexford County Council. Please note these rules do not apply to Marshalsto­wn Cemetery.

FUN RUN

Marshalsto­wn School parents’ associatio­n are holding a Fun Run on Sunday, June 11, beginning at the Community Centre at midday. Registrati­on at the hall from 11 a.m.

OPEN DAY

An open day at Walter Kelly, Tombrick Gardens is on Sunday, June 11, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. in aid of St Anthony’s Unit, County Wexford Community Workshop, Enniscorth­y. Tea served and there will be a raffle on the day.

CASTLEDOCK­RELL PATRON

The annual patron and blessing of graves will take place in Castledock­rell on Friday, July 7, with Prayers at the church cemetery at 7.45 p.m. followed by Prayers in the Present Cemetery at 8 p.m.

CÚL CAMP

Marshalsto­wn-Castledock­rell are hosting a Kellogg’s Cúl Camp in Farmleigh Park July 17 to July 21. Online booking on kelloggscu­lcamp.gaa.ie.
