STORYTELLING
The next session of storytelling is in Castledockrell Hall on Thursday, June 15, at 8 p.m. All are welcome to attend this night of entertainment. Tea served and a raffle held on the night. Do come along.
SOCIAL DANCING
The next social in Marshalstown Community Centre takes place on Friday, June 16 (Blooms Day) with music by the ever popular Catherine and Jimmy of the Images. Come along for a great night out with tea, dancing and good company. Admission is €8 including tea, buns and currant bread.
PARISH NIGHT
This year our parish night will be in the Riverside Park Hotel, Enniscorthy on Sunday, July 9, The night will begin at 8.30 p.m. with Teresa and the Stars followed by Shawn Cuddy and his band. Tickets are on sale at €10 each. All proceeds will be shared with both Parish Churches.
GET WELL
Get well wishes to all from the parish who are ill in hospitals, nursing homes, or at home at present.
CASTLEDOCKRELL CEMETERY
Following new regulations by Wexford County Council these are the guidelines for burials in Castledockrell Cemetery (and all other cemeteries owned by Wexford County Council). NO burials can take place on a Sunday.
Burials on the other days – Funerals must arrive at cemetery gate by 2 p.m. which means the latest time a Funeral Mass may be celebrated is midday. For further information or any queries please contact Wexford County Council. Please note these rules do not apply to Marshalstown Cemetery.
FUN RUN
Marshalstown School parents’ association are holding a Fun Run on Sunday, June 11, beginning at the Community Centre at midday. Registration at the hall from 11 a.m.
OPEN DAY
An open day at Walter Kelly, Tombrick Gardens is on Sunday, June 11, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. in aid of St Anthony’s Unit, County Wexford Community Workshop, Enniscorthy. Tea served and there will be a raffle on the day.
CASTLEDOCKRELL PATRON
The annual patron and blessing of graves will take place in Castledockrell on Friday, July 7, with Prayers at the church cemetery at 7.45 p.m. followed by Prayers in the Present Cemetery at 8 p.m.
CÚL CAMP
