Dermot Bannon helps Camolin business turn 45
CELEBRITY architect Dermot Bannon was the star attraction at the recent open day at the impressive Tom Doyle Supplies showroom in Camolin.
As the company marked its 45th anniversary, a special day was held at the premises to celebrate the occasion, to thank staff and customers past and present, and to welcome new ones.
The ‘Room to Improve’ presenter gave an entertaining and informative talk on design and the fundamentals of architecture, before taking questions from the floor, and then meeting members of the public for one-on-one consultations. Many of them brought plans for him to look at, while others simply wanted to pose for a photo with the celebrity.
Children’s entertainment, face painting, games, a disco, and a barbecue added to the festive atmosphere, while the team at the store showed customers around the state-of-theart showroom which was designed by Roisin Lafferty.
Many items in store are heavily discounted at present as the celebratory sale continues throughout June. Tom Doyle Supplies is the flagship showroom for Halo Tiles, and customers from across the South East and further afield attended on the day.
A huge thank you was sent to all who attended in such numbers, and a warm welcome is extended to those who want to call in, or indeed call back, on a less busy day, for a good look around.
