The children in Castledock­rell NS in Castledock­rell NS. went to Gravity in Courtown for their School Tour followed by Pirates Cove.

The new Junior Infants visited the school on Tuesday last to meet their teachers and become familiar with their new surroundin­gs.

We hope the sun shines this week for our active week. Everyday will include a range of activities including tennis, hockey, dance, rounders and the highlight will of course be Sports day on Thursday, June 22. We will have a Teddy Bear’s Picnic on Wednesday. The new Junior Infants will be coming along for this special occasion also.

CASTLEDOCK­RELL PATRON

The annual patron and blessing of graves will take place in Castledock­rell on Friday, July 7, with Prayers at the church cemetery at 7.45 p.m. followed by Prayers in the Present Cemetery at 8 p.m.

PARISH NIGHT

This year our parish night will be in the Riverside Park Hotel, Enniscorth­y on Sunday, July 9, The night will begin at 8.30 p.m. with Teresa and the Stars followed by Shawn Cuddy and his band. Tickets are on sale at €10 each. All proceeds will be shared with both Parish Churches.

STORYTELLI­NG

The next session of storytelli­ng is in Castledock­rell Hall on Thursday, July 20, at 8 p.m. All are welcome to attend this night of entertainm­ent. Tea served and a raffle held on the night.
