DIAMOND JUBILEE

With great joy, the parishioners of Clonegal/Kildavin, will celebrate Fr Fleming’s Diamond Jubilee with him and his family. Bishop Denis Nulty will preside at a Mass of Thanksgiving on Friday, June 23, at 7.30 p.m. in St Brigid’s Church, Clonegal.

A reception will follow in the Spellman Hall Kildavin. Everyone is invited to this joyous occasion. To mark his Jubilee, Fr Fleming will be presented with a ticket for the inaugural Kildare and Leighlin Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes.

GAA LOTTO

The Kildavin-Clonegal GAA lotto was held in Dunne’s Lounge, Clonegal, on Sunday, June 11. Numbers drawn were 05, 11, 24 and 26. There was no winner of the jackpot of €7,200. The winners that match three were, Marie Fox, Myshall, Anne Flynn, c/o Luke Hayden and Eddie Sly, Kilbride, all receiving €50. Seller’s prize goes to Damien Treacy receiving €50.

The next draw will take place in Osborne’s Lounge, Clonegal, on Sunday, June 25, at 10.30 p.m., with a jackpot worth €7,400. Tickets €2 each.

TIDY VILLAGE MEETING

Clonegal Tidy Village Association meeting will be held on Wednesday, June 28, in St Brigid’s Hall, Clonegal at 8 p.m.

PATRON MASSES

The Patron Masses will be celebrated on the following dates: Clonegal – Saturday, July 1, at 6.30 p.m. Kildavin – Sunday, July 2, at 11.30 a.m.
