Ten students graduate after years of hard work

IT WAS A NIGHT of celebratio­n for 10 students who graduated from St Patrick’s Special School, Enniscorth­y where they were treated to delicious finger food and a disco in the Riverside Park Hotel.

The students who graduated were Jayne Harrison, Colum O’Sullivan Cleere, Nicolette Petrovice, Liene Abromova, Clodagh McCarthy, Katie Dixon, Daria Adamek, Mykalla Nolan, Micheal Kehoe and Brian Murphy.

For all their hard work and dedication the graduates were presented with a QQI certificat­e from principal Lee Rodgers, equivalent to a Fetac Level 1 Award.

After the presentati­on, speeches were then made by the principal, vice-principal Ann-Marie Furlong and former teachers who praised the students on all their great work during the school term.

Tables were filled with 20 to 30 family members and some staff, who all enjoyed a dance at the disco which was held after the graduation.
