KILLENAGH MEETING

Killenagh Community Development Association is holding a public meeting in O’Brien’s pub/ lounge on Tuesday, July 11, at 8 p.m. to discuss and update the community on local matters.

HORSESHOES CLUB DRAW

The draw for the Killenagh Horseshoes Club’s hamper was drawn on Saturday evening, June 24, in O’Brien’s pub. The winning ticket was number 54 and was won by Harry Briscoe. The seller was P J. Dwyer. Thanks to all who participated in the draw.

BLOTTO DRAW

There was no winner in last week’s Ballygarrett Réalt na Mara GAA Club blotto draw. The numbers picked were 1, 12, 20 and 22. The €20 lucky-dip winners were Emma McDonald, Darragh Murphy c/o Pat Keavey, Dick Bolger, Tom Prendergast, Lena Sutcliff. The five free tickets winner was Lorena O’Neill. This week’s jackpot rose to €11,400.

BRIDGE CLUB

Come play bridge every Monday night for the summer months of July and August at 7 p.m. at Seán Óg’s Bridge Club, Upton Court Hotel, Kilmuckridge. Partner required.

Also, bridge is played every Thursday morning from 10 a.m. at Seán Óg’s. No partner needed – we have a joker system in operation – all are welcome. Results from Thursday, June 22 – First: Sadie Owens and June Coogan; Second: Susan Burke and Richard Cremins.
