PLANT SALE
Plant sale in aid of St Catherine’s Church, Camolin, at the home of Daphne Tully on the N11, 1km from Camolin towards Gorey, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. A wide variety of herbaceous perennials offered.
CASTLEBRIDGE SHOW
The 77th annual horticultural and agricultural show will take place, with the gates opening at 1.45 p.m with lots to see.

Mrs Oddsocks will provide kids’ entertainment, face painting, a Punch and Judy show, and the kids can take part in a fancy dress parade. There is a pets’ corner, an exhibition from Castlebridge ICA guild, a bottle stall and bric-a-brac stall run by Shelmalier GAA Club, and a dog show with numerous classes. There will also be a glamorous granny competition, best dressed gentleman, best dressed lady competition. Music will be provided by the Fife and Drum band.

RATHANGAN PATRON AFTER MASS
The Rathangan patron takes place today at the old cemetery after 11 a.m. Mass. The new cemetery patron is on Tuesday, August 15.
TAGOAT PARISH AUCTION
This annual event starts at 2.30 p.m. in St Mary’s GAA. Hall, Tagoat. Lucky dip, gift shop, bric-abrac and bargains galore.

GIANTS AT THE GAP
See the giant puppets at Ballythomas NS at midday as the Gap Arts Festival enters its final day. They are followed by a lunchtime classical concert with the Quaid Quartet, and then Béile na Féile, the Festival Feast, sponsored by Foras na Gaeilge.
WHITEHCURCH STEAM RALLY & VINTAGE DAY
The annual Whitechurch Steam Rally & Vintage Day takes place on Seamus Kane’s farm in Whitechurch outside New Ross on Sunday, August 13 from 1 p.m.
This much loved annual event features steam engines, vintage tractors, cars and machines, a working forge, dog show and more. You can also sample colcannon, pigs feet, griddle bread etc.
The day offers people a window into rural life of old. The previous night a barn dance takes place with music by Theresa & The Stars.
