GYMKHANA

The annual Gymkhana and field day will be held on next Sunday, August 27, in Coolgreany Village. We are looking for volunteers to help with various aspects of the show. If anyone would like to join our committee please contact Declan Finn at 086 2437343.

Tickets for the Big Raffle are for sale at present, and with a prize fund of €1,000 on offer. Please return unsold Tickets and Money to any member of the committee before next Friday night.

The organising committee are appealing for as much support as possible on next Sunday, as this is the only main Fundraising Event for parish and School Funds the support of the whole parish would be very much appreciated.

TIDY TOWNS

The committee are looking forward to the results of the Tidy Towns results which are due out in September, also keep Wexford beautiful competition results in September also.

The committee are asking house holders to keep an eye out for blocked shores outside their homes and on the street and roadways as the heavy rain are leaving a lot of loose leaves around.

The committee are also gathering items for their stalls at the Gymkhana which has been kindly given to the Tidy Towns this year, we have lovely prizes for the wheel of fortune, also lovely home baking, flowers, vintage handbags, books, magazines bric-a-brac, teddy’s etc. Tickets for the annual draw with a first prize of €500 are available from committee members. HANDBALL LOTTO

There was no winner of the lottery this past week, the jackpot currently stands at €11,700, lotto tickets are available locally at €2 in Shorts, Coolgreany post office, O’Rafferty’s and Liam Clare. A new prize format is now in now in place, with no match 3’s, No Bonus Numbers, instead there is now seven lucky Dips worth €30 each, and one seller’s prize. Your support is very much appreciated by the club.
