€600 in fines for motor offences

Jerry Connors (25) from 38 Drumgoold Villas, Enniscorthy was fined a total of €600 for motoring offences.

Prosecuting Garda Declan Dennehy told the District Court sitting in Wexford that he came across Connors at St Brendan’s Estate in Rosslare on November 30 last year.

A learner permit holder, the accused was on the road without L plates displayed on the white van he was driving – fine €300.

The garda also noted that no up to date tax disc was exhibited on the 2012 vehicle – fine again €300.

Connors was not present at the courthouse in Ardcavan for the hearing.
