Drove without car insurance

BEN BOLAND (22) of 49 Daphney View was given a suspended jail term and put on probation for a year on conviction for repeatedly driving without insurance.

The District Court sitting in Gorey was told that Boland was no longer resident in County Wexford but was now living with his mother in Cork.

As a condition of his probation, he was ordered to attend psychiatric services, and he was also banned from driving for five years.

Three counts of driving uninsured, all admitted, were considered by Judge Gerard Haughton.
