North End United clear first hurdle

WEXFORD champions North End United travelled to Kildare to take on Liffey Celtic on Sunday in the first round of LFA Senior Cup and ran out handsome winners.

The Sky Blues hit their opponents for six, winning 6-0, with Shane Dempsey bagging a double, and Paul Murphy, Gary Delaney, Kyle Dempsey and Jason Murphy adding a goal apiece.
