On Saturday in Wicklow town, SBR had a 1-2 finish in the Kilomarathon 10k with Myles Gibbons taking top honours in 36:50 and David Leonard next man home in 37:23.

Two very strong performances from the Gorey men. In the 26.2 km Kilomarathon, Eugene Doherty represented SBR well with an 13th place overall in 1:57:37 to win his age category. Well done, men.

Cross Country training continues Tuesday and Thursday nights at the field just outside Ferns. Groups meeting in the Square in Ferns from 6,45pm both nights for road running and cross country. All welcome.
